Luxewall Natural Walnut Acoustic Slat Panel Walling is made with MDF slats wrapped in real wood veneers and precision mounted to an acoustic felt backer, our Luxewall Acoustic Slat Panels offer the perfect blend of authentic wood aesthetics, robust construction, and superior acoustic performance for your space. Plus, Luxewall is designed for easy, DIY-friendly installation, making it a breeze to transform your room.
We bought some furniture from Scan Design made by BDI. Scpecifically a stand up bar and console table. They are designed with walnut wood slat fronts that look like wood slat panels but horizontal. One of our projects in our new build home was to address the plain front kitchen island. I ordered samples from six different companies of walnut wood slats. Luxewall is the ONLY company I found that made the panels in the size we needed to cover the 112" wide front with NO SEAM when mounted horizontally. That, plus the 24" width enabled us to cover the enitre front of the island with less than two pieces. The real artistry came in for thecarpenter to make the miter cuts look perfect for the side pieces and the trim boards were the crowning touch as they finished off the side edges where the cabinets meet the drywall with perfection.
Expensive project because we still have one full unopened panel and two large pieces making up almost another full panel left over. But soooo worth it because the finished product is positively jaw dropping and complements the other walnut pieces and walnut trimmed pieces we have in the new home. It turned out much better than we had hoped!

Wow—thank you so much for sharing this! It sounds like your project came together beautifully, and we’re honored Luxewall could be a part of it. We totally get the importance of getting that seamless look, and we’re so glad our panel size worked perfectly for your kitchen island. Big shoutout to your carpenter too—it sounds like they did an incredible job with the miter cuts and trim! Even with a bit of leftover material, it’s awesome to hear it was all worth it for that jaw-dropping finish. We’d love to see photos if you ever feel like sharing!

Needed extra long panels for my project... and not only are these 118" long, but they're also 24" wide. If the samples are anything like the panels are when they arrive, this project will be a "WOW" that will complement several other walnut and walnut accented pieces we have in our new home.
Store owner replied:
Wow, that sounds like an exciting project! We're so glad the panel size is exactly what you needed—118" and 24" wide definitely makes a statement. The sample is beautiful. Quality item and would look beautiful on any wall.
Loved the color and style. Finishing up a few other projects and then will decide if my client wants to move forward with the slat wall. A couple budget restraints.

Hey Katrina! We’re so happy to hear that — thank you for the great feedback. Glad you loved the quality of the Natural Walnut sample, and we appreciate you choosing LuxeWall!
Ordered samples from Aku Wood Panel, Wood Veneer Hub, and LuxeWall to compare walnut finishes. LuxeWall stood out—richer color and veneer-wrapped edges on each panel strip. The others lacked edge coverage. Will order full panels soon.

We’re glad the samples helped you with your decision, and we’ll be here whenever you’re ready to move forward with the slats. Thanks for considering us for your project!

Haven’t finished the installation as I needed two more panels. Very satisfied with the produce. Real wood and heavy felt backing. Definitely better than just the front of the slats wood or laminated material. The panels are more expensive but much better for the little extra cost.
